Holiday Extravaganza Celebrates the Season with Music, Movies and Fun in Downtown Clearwater

The holiday season is upon us and Downtown Clearwater has plenty of activities for the whole family
from Nov. 21 through Dec. 23.

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Downtown Clearwater will celebrate the holiday season from Nov. 21 through Dec. 23 with outdoor movies, virtual events, crafting activities, music, family fun, decorations and much more during its third annual Holiday Extravaganza.

Downtown Clearwater will be transformed during the Holiday Extravaganza into a holiday destination with colorful lights, festive decorations, music and activities.

This year’s celebrations will look a little different, as the city of Clearwater will follow new requirements and policies due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including, but not limited to, requiring event attendees to wear masks and adhere to social distancing. Events bringing holiday cheer downtown will be held asfederal, state, and local regulations permit. See each event for specific requirements.

“Our hope is the downtown holiday activities will provide a safe and engaging environment to celebrate our winter traditions as we reach the end of a challenging year,” said Amanda Thompson, director of the city of Clearwater’s Community Redevelopment Agency. “The CRA is providing live music, beautiful lights and family friendly activities that make Clearwater uniquely bright and beautiful this holiday season. We look forward to gathering with you safely in downtown to celebrate the season.”
