Clearwater Business SPARK GETS A NEW PARTNER!

In the exciting world of business, Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council has joined Clearwater Business SPARK as their newest business partner. The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Miami Progress Foundation together founded the Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council in 1975.

The Council, being one the 23 affiliate councils of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, is a liaison between corporate American and government agencies and Minority Business Enterprises.

Together, they aim to provide open access to resources, training, and assistance to various minority-owned business.

Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council has a skilled team which is dedicated to help assist business owners in getting their Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification.

What does this mean for the Clearwater business community?

Expert guidance on acquiring certifications to participate in government contracts specifically available for minority businesses. There are millions of dollars available through the various levels government and there is typically a percentage of work that must be allocated to minority businesses.

Not only that but as one of Clearwater Business SPARK’s new partner, they are now equipped to provide a substantial array of education opportunities and technical assistance. This also includes access to SPARK partner programming, one-on-one marketing & finance consultations, and various educational events.
